We are all indeed the flowers of one garden and the waves of one sea if we only are educated to see this beautiful and vital reality. As the song below expresses so beautifully, the oneness of all the religions of God has a special place in the integrated education curriculum. The reason is whatever divides humanity, diminishes human power and capabilities. When we choose our highest identity, then we are all flowers of one Garden and we are the waves of one Sea, the leaves of One Tree.

When we become veiled by our lesser and less significant identities, then we cannot expect the flip side of life which is death and destruction. The example of the cells in the human boy is a very good teacher of the vital importance of abiding by the principle of unity in diversity. Here science can help our understanding of what religion is meant to be. let us remember that science and religion both share the same unknowable source of inspiration that sheds its light on the human heart. Science and religion are therefore in harmony in their principles. “The truth is one and ignorant multiplied it”, is true!!

The followings are some samples of songs and meditations for teaching unity in an integrated curriculum.

Songs for love, unity, and lifeWe are one familyYou are the flowers of one garden
