The News is Pointing Us Towards a Global Civilization

Yes, we are witnessing in the daily news the emergence of a global identity in need of global management, or government as some may call it. One lesson we are learning from the chaos in the Middle East and the unprecedented events in countries such as Egypt and Tunisia is that the old world order is crumbling overnight and in its place, a new one is being spread. We are beholding a new global consciousness and the power of unity and global connection that is bringing everyone’s care and concern from the four corners of our earth to our homes connecting us all as we speak and as God has meant it to be. The only barrier is in our minds and hearts depriving us of enjoying a global community in peace, harmony, and prosperity governed by a global mindset that looks after the well-being of everyone as the earth’s citizens with prosperity and justice for all. One of the most serious barriers to peace and justice is the artificial and man-made division of Divine Teachings which has emanated from one Divine source and is addressing the one and only family of humanity.

At CGIE we all agree that man is one, God is one and all religions must be one and are one addressing by its divine author periodically the ever-changing needs and concerns of humanity. As Muhammad says; the truth is one but ignorant have multiplied it. The world is in travail and We are the victims of our own ignorance and our own worse enemies.

Baha’u’llah enlightens us all in the Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah:

The All-Knowing Physician hath His finger on the pulse of mankind. He perceiveth the disease, and prescribeth, in His unerring wisdom, the remedy. Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and center your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements.

We can well perceive how the whole human race is encompassed with great, incalculable afflictions. We see it languishing on its bed of sickness, sore-tried and disillusioned. They that are intoxicated by self-conceit have interposed themselves between it and the Divine and infallible Physician. Witness how they have entangled all men, themselves included, in the mesh of their devices. They can neither discover the cause of the disease nor have any knowledge of the remedy. They have conceived the straight to be crooked, and have imagined their friend as an enemy. Incline your ears to the sweet melody of this Prisoner. Arise, and lift up your voices, that haply they that are fast asleep may be awakened.

Say O ye who are as dead! The Hand of Divine bounty proffereth unto you the Water of Life. Hasten and drink your fill. Whoso hath been re-born in this Day, shall never die; whoso remaineth dead shall never live.
